Started today with the vocab quiz. Most students said they did “okay”. Some are already realizing they should have studied (especially the roots) more ahead of time.
When everyone finished, we still did our quote, idiom and DOL for the day. We briefly went over the roots from Unit Two that they need to add to their roots binder, and I gave them due dates.
- Exercises 2-6 due this Friday, Sept. 28
- Exercise 1 (sentences, separate sheet of paper) due next Monday, Oct. 1
- Unit Two quiz will be on Tuesday, Oct. 9
All we had time for. Tomorrow we will review the words from Unit Two, and we’ll get back into writing with some brainstorming activities.
